June is Pride Month, a nationwide call to celebrate and support the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer/questioning (LGBTQ+) community. One comprehensive resource for data about some of the best employers of LGBTQ+ candidates has been supported by the Human Rights Campaign. Its Best Places to Work for LGBTQ+ Equality list ranks organizations on their corporate policies, practices, and benefits pertinent to LGBTQ+ workers.

There’s reason for optimism about the growing number of employers who have taken significant steps to implement concrete policies that “ensure greater equity for LGBTQ workers and their families.” The latest list recognizes over 800 businesses that earned a rating of 100% on the organization’s benchmark Corporate Equality Index.
